Professional Confidentiality

All forms of communication (be it paper based, mobile, or electronic) between clients and prospective candidates is deemed private and confidential.

This includes phone calls and emails, and ensures that we adhere to a strict ethos of providing complete confidentiality in our work.

Prospective candidates are given due regard and professional consideration during office hours, and meetings are arranged at mutually convenient times and places. Similarly due regard and consideration is given when taking up personal references.

Clients as future employers are offered an exclusive and professional executive search and selection service, and any information shared relating to future business growth, market direction or strategy, is also considered confidential and will not be disclosed.

CVs and Personal Data

CVs are not openly solicited by Personnel Assets from job seekers. If you send us your CV it is because we have personally asked you to do so; CVs are sent to us by invitation only.

It is our policy to request an up-to-date CV once you have been shortlisted to fill an executive appointment, and have been personally contacted by us as a result of our research and selection procedure.

If we have asked you to send us your CV, and you have agreed to do so, your CV will be treated in the strictest confidence. Your personal details are secure with us and they will not be passed onto any third parties. However please be aware that if you agree to submit your CV to Personnel Assets, you automatically authorise us to share this information with prospective employers.

The information you provide on your CV is termed "personal data" under the Data Protection Act 1998. As such your details will be kept on file within a secure in-house computer environment, and will only be accessible to and read by our staff, who are kept up-to-date with our security and privacy policy. When we release your details to a prospective employer, we expect them in turn to treat your personal data with due care and confidentiality.

Should you wish to correct or update the information we have about you on record, you can do so at any time. Simply notify us by email or by letter detailing the modifications, or send us a revised CV and we will update your details as quickly as possible.

If you wish to have your CV removed from our files, we will endeavour do this immediately upon your written request.
